How it Works

Step 1

Place your iPhone (3,4,5) , iPod Touch (4th, 5th generation) or any GoPro camera into Bird Photo Booth's foam insert. 

Bird Photo Booth has custom high quality protective foam cut to seamlessly fit smartphones and GoPro cameras.

Step 2

Make sure your smartphone is on with one of the suggested apps activated. Scroll down to see list of apps. below. 



Step 5

With either another Wi-Fi enabled device or a bluetooth device, snap away!

Step 3

Slide the aluminum door shut. The devices inside are measured to be located in the correct position behind the attachment lenses. 

Step 4

Step far enough away from the Bird Photo Booth so that birds will not be scared by your presence.

Note: You only need ONE iOS device  to use this app. Make sure to buy this app. for .99 cents. Do not use the free version.

1.  Launch this app on your iPhone 3gs,4,4s,5 or iPod touch. No wifi or bluetooth connection needed. 
2. Just tap the shooting speed and then tap the camera icon-(should turn red)
3. Now just place your phone in the photo booth.
4. Thats it! Photos are being captured by motion detection.

Great for capturing the bird action when your away.

  1. Launch the FaceTime app on your selected iOS device that you will use as the remote viewer.
  2. Call your iPhone using the FaceTime app. 
  3. Start a FaceTime chat and make sure the rear facing camera is selected on your iPhone.
  4. Reduce screen brightness to conserve battery.
  5. With FaceTime call accepted, place your iPhone or iPod touch into Bird Photo Booth and now you can watch,listen to, and even TALK to backyard birds face to face in real time!

  1. With your iPhone go to general settings.
  2. Select "bluetooth" then connect your wireless bluetooth keyboard/headset to your iPhone. (note: Once connected ,it is a good idea to reduce screen brightness under General settings- to increase battery life of your iOS device or plug into charger.)
  3. Set your iPhone™ to vibrate mode. Now you are ready to start remote photo capture using the volume up button on your bluetooth keyboard or headset.
  4. Place your iPhone™ in Bird Photo Booth and let the fun begin!

How it works for GoPro (supports all GoPro cameras including Hero 3)

1. Turn on your GoPro camera and GoPro Wi-Fi remote. Make sure they are connected. 
2. Now insert your GoPro camera into Bird Photo Booth.
3. Slide the aluminum door shut. 
4. Now your can remotely control high quality photo, video, time lapse and even burst modes up to 680ft away.
Note:. We suggest you set your GoPro camera in medium angle view for video and 8mp medium for photo capture.
